Legislative Representation
During the legislative session, CLA focuses on issues related to water, transportation and animal welfare. The interest group throughout the legislative session from January-May to discuss legislation of interest to the members led by CLA’s lobbyist, Steve Holdren.
Communications
CLA strives to keep its members informed on the latest issues in Colorado agriculture through its weekly newsletter, breaking news releases, annual magazine Vision, social media platforms and face to face meetings.
Regulatory Liaison
CLA is the leader in the state in representing livestock producers on issues related to air and water quality. We partner with technical experts and consultants to ensure that livestock agriculture is well-represented with regulators.
Seminars and Meetings
CLA hosts a number of regional meetings throughout the state each year. We host issue-specific meetings to bring the experts with the latest information to the table with our membership.
Safety and Insurance
CLA has a high-performing workers compensation dividend program that is exclusive to CLA members.
Human Resources
CLA provides resources and support to its members on a variety of human resource issues.
Preparing Future Leaders
CLA partners with a number of leadership programs to provide members with the opportunity to learn and grow as leaders in agriculture. Including the Colorado Ag Leadership Program and NCBA’s Young Cattlemen’s Conference.
