Jessica Lemmel
Director of Communications
I have served as the Director of Communications for the Colorado Livestock Association since 2012. My responsibilities include media outreach, social media, website management, producing the CLA weekly email newsletter, publication of CLA’s VISION magazine, and CLA event promotion.
I grew up raising cattle and sheep in Northeast Colorado, participating in FFA and 4-H, and showing livestock at the county fair. In 2012, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Natural Resource Management at Colorado State University and received my Master of Business Administration from Chadron State College in 2017.
I live in Ogallala, Nebraska, with my husband and our two children.
CLA members are the leaders of livestock agriculture in Colorado, and during my time at CLA I have been extremely fortunate to work with and learn from so many hard-working farmers and ranchers!
Jane Lundwall
Director of Administration
I graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations and have held marketing, development, management and administrative positions at various companies and non-profit organizations.
After meeting and marrying my best friend Jerry, we moved to Colorado to start our family and launch a corporate design and communications business where I served as Sr. Account Rep for national cable networks and fortune 500 companies.
My love for the non-profit world opened opportunities at Hospice, The Global Down Syndrome Foundation and Children’s Hospital Colorado to assist with marketing and fundraising. I planned openings of the Colorado Maternal and Fetal Care Center and Children’s Hospital Colorado South Campus in Highlands Ranch working in Physicians Relations. Â
With ties to family farms in SD and IA, I landed in the Ag industry in 2016 supporting the Colorado Farm Bureau, which led me to CLA in 2022 as Director of Administration overseeing an office move and diving right into office management and member support!
When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me on the tennis court, hiking, walking a beach or traveling with our 3 daughters and their families. My sweet granddaughter is the light of our lives!
Brittany Dennison
Membership and Programs Coordinator
I serve as the Membership and Programs Coordinator for the Colorado Livestock Association. My responsibilities within the association include membership benefits, engagement, recruitment, and retention, maintaining the membership database, serving as the liaison to CLA councils, committees, and sponsors, overseeing the CLA Safety Group Program, and coordinating member events and programs.
I grew up in Haxtun, Colorado, on my family's wheat farm where my love for the agricultural community grew not only as a farmer's daughter but also through participating in 4H and FFA. I had the privilege to serve the agricultural community and the Colorado FFA Association as a State Officer for the 2019-2020 year. I graduated from Colby Community College in 2018 with my Associate of Animal Science and continued on to Colorado State University to graduate with a Bachelor of Animal Science in December 2021.
I live in Milliken, Colorado with my husband and a very energetic cattle dog.
Working for this association is an incredible privilege. Our CLA members work tirelessly day in and day out to provide for so many and I am honored to do what I can to serve our membership and make sure they can continue to provide for the ever-growing population.
