Livestock Producers Gather for the 2022 Annual Meeting

The 2022 CLA Annual Meeting was held June 8-9, 2022, at the Embassy Suites, Loveland, Colorado. Nearly 250 livestock producers, agribusiness partners, and industry stakeholders gathered for the annual event. Attendees heard from speakers on topics critical to the livestock industry in Colorado, caught up with old friends, and met new ones!

Outgoing Board member Mike Veeman was recognized for his many years of service to the Board of Directors.

The Past President’s of the Association were honored at the annual luncheon. President Dwain Weinrich gave the Outgoing Presidential address and briefed attendees on the last year of advocacy efforts on behalf of livestock producers.

At the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Colorado Livestock Association, the CLA Top Choice Award was presented to Senator Jerry Sonnenberg for his significant contributions to the livestock industry in Colorado.

A special recognition was held to honor retiring CEO Bill Hammerich for his 20 years of leadership to the Colorado Livestock Association.
