Brian Kuehl is a partner and Director of Government and Public Affairs at KCoe Isom, a leading American food and agriculture accounting and business advisory firm. Brian is also Director of KCoe Conservation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kcoe Isom that helps landowners participate in environmental markets.
Brian was a founder and Managing Partner of Vela Environmental, a consulting firm supporting long-term business sustainability that became part of K·Coe Isom in 2013. Prior to founding Vela Environmental, Brian served as chief of staff, legislative director, and environmental and energy adviser to U.S. Senator Max Baucus.
In 2006 and 2007, Brian served as a Loeb Fellow at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design where he received a certificate in Advanced Environmental Studies. In 2001 and 2002, Brian served as a U.S.-Japan Leadership Foundation Fellow. Brian received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California at Davis.
