Speakers
Wes Skiles, Principal, Michael Best Strategies
As a Principal at Michael Best Strategies, Wes helps clients protect and advance their business interests through political and legislative advocacy. He has considerable experience in lobbying, strategy, research, and coalition building, and he helps clients build strong relationships with policy makers and stakeholders. Wes analyzes the potential impact of pending legislation, and works closely with clients to deploy strategies that will produce favorable outcomes. He regularly works with regulatory bodies, including the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, as well as state and federal health agencies, on policy issues that affect Colorado businesses.
Brittany Dennison, Membership and Program Coordinator, Colorado Livestock Association
Brittany works for Colorado Livestock Association as the Membership and Programs Coordinator. She graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s in animal science in December of 2021. Before working at CLA Brittany worked for Colorado Cattlemen’s Association as a fellow. During college, she spent time as an intern with a variety of companies in the livestock industry such as Colorado BQA and Five Rivers Cattle Feeding. Brittany currently lives in Milliken with her husband Noah.
