CSU AgInnovation Summit Brings Thought Leaders

The Colorado Livestock Association was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the 2018 Colorado State University AgInnovation Summit held September 20-21 at the CSU campus in Fort Collins.

Since its inception in 2015, the CSU AgInnovation Summit has convened diverse perspectives from higher education, industry and government partners to provoke thought and catalyze momentum.

The 2018 conversation explored forces driving and shaping the future of food safety and agricultural biosecurity including innovation in prevention, prediction, mitigation and response.

Speakers from the event included a keynote address from Kevin Shea, Administrator, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), a panel discussion on the prevention and prediction of threats to America’s food supply, a presentation from Dr. Sally Rockey, Executive Director, Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research. Traceability and foodbourne illness outbreak mitigation was the highlight of the afternoon panel.
