Join livestock producers for the annual Marshall Frasier Beef Symposium, an educational symposium to be held February 19, 2020 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds (33747 County Rd 2W, Hugo, CO 80821). This year’s event will feature a full day of engaging and informative speakers covering current topics affecting the livestock industry.

Troy Applehans, CattleFax, will present about domestic and global protein production and trade. His presentation is sure to be packed with critical information for livestock producers.

Producers will hear an update from Colorado State Veterinarian, Keith Roehr, DVM, who will discuss cattle ID tags and traceability.

Josh White, Executive Director of Producer Education, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association will present on plant-based proteins and their impact on beef consumption and how the checkoff is preparing for the future.

Brian Bledsoe, Weather5280, will provide a long-range weather forecast to assist livestock producers in reducing or mitigating operational risks. Brian grew up on a farm in eastern Colorado and has a keen interest and passion for helping farmers and ranchers in seasonal planning.

Registration is FREE, but please register for lunch by Friday, February 14, 2020.
