The members of the Colorado Livestock Association have elected officers and directors. This year, the vote for the officers and directors of the Association was conducted solely by absentee ballot in accordance with applicable Colorado Statutes (see the Notice of Special Meeting).
As per the Association by-laws, President-Elect Dwain Weinrich, Smithfield Hog Production, has filled the office of President and Mike Veeman will now fill the role of Immediate Past President for two years.
The following Officers and Directors have been elected to their respective positions:
Kenny Rogers, Wagon Wheel Ranch, Yuma, CO was elected President-Elect for a two-year term.
Case Gabel, Magnum Feedyard, Co. LLC, was elected Treasurer for a one-year term
Britt Dinis, Empire Dairy, was elected to serve a three-year term as a Director.
Justin Miller, Five Rivers Cattle Feeding, Lamar, was elected to serve a three-year term as a Director.
Luke Larson, Ordway Feedyard, Ordway, was elected to serve a three-year term as a Director.
Leigha Mertens, Wickstrom Feedyard, Orchard, was elected to serve a two-year term as a Director.
